THE BEST 20 MIXOLOGISTS OF TORONTO WERE COMPETITING FOR THE NATIONAL FINALS LAST MONDAY
Toronto, April 5th 2016 – The mixology industry was unbridled on Monday night for MADE WITH LOVETM Toronto Regional Finals, Canada’s biggest cocktail competition, which was held at Liberty Grand from 6 to 10 PM.
After being selected at the qualifiers last January, 20 of the best GTA mixologists were competing tirelessly for a chance to win a place for the National Finals. Hundreds of cocktail aficionados heeded the call to discover 20 exclusive cocktail creations and elect their favourite competitor.
This year, Danielle Yoon from Annette Food Market won the heart of the public with her Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey cocktail and Matteo Gorla from Barchef won the judges’ choice with his Campari cocktail.
Our two winners will represent Toronto at the MadeWithLoveTM National Finals in Montreal on May 16th. Both finalists will attempt to bring home the title of Canada’s best mixologist along with one of trips to partnering brand distilleries.
