BELOW IS AN INVITATION FOR BARTENDERS TO THE MADEWITHLOVE «CITY INSPIRED COCKTAIL» QUALIFIERS EVENT, WHICH WILL BE HELD AT MARCHÉ (181 Bay Street), ON TUESDAY JANUARY 15TH, AT 3:30PM
«CITY INSPIRED COCKTAIL» EVENT
PROUDLY PRESENTED IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CANADIAN PROFESSIONAL BARTENDERS ASSOCIATION (CPBA)
In preparation of the MadeWithLove Main Event Toronto Edition to be held in March 2013, we are holding a «CITY INSPIRED COCKTAIL» Qualifiers at Marché (181 Bay Street) on January 15th, at 3:30PM.
We invite you to come and show your creative and technical skills and make a delicious cocktail inspired by some of the most popular districts in Toronto: Chinatown, Cabbage Town, College Street, Liberty Village and High Park.
Each competitor will be assigned one Toronto district to use as inspiration.
The district association will be decided randomly.
Competitors will be informed of their associated district 3 days before the qualifier event.
The day of the event, competitors will have 10 minutes to create one cocktail creation (one unit) for the judges.

1/3 Presentation
1/3 Taste
You will have access to basic fruits (lemon, lime & orange), simple syrup and all the spirits which are partners of MadeWithLove Toronto 2013:

We will accept a maximum of 25 candidates and we will select 14 mixologists to participate in the March 2013 main event.
Your ranking at the qualifier will give you priory to choose the spirit you will work with for the main event in March.

Winner of the Judges’ panel :
The mixologists will be judged on the originality, presentation, the execution and the taste of their cocktail. The mixologist who will receive the most points will win a trip to MadeWithLove Mexico – Cancun in August 2013 to showcase an all new drink to our Mexican friends!
Winner of the Public’s Choice:
All attending guests will receive a dogtag. Guests will taste all the cocktails and give their dogtag to their favourite mixologist. The mixologist with the most dogtags will be chosen as the Public’s Choice winner and will win a trip to MadeWithLove Mexico – Cancun in August 2013 to showcase an all new drink to our Mexican friends!
